I draw the lines and arrows that you see on every doll that I root.  They are drawn with a prisma pencil to guide me through my rooting process and I find it helps me a lot because I root every reborn doll directionally in a realistic growth pattern.  After the I'm done rooting a reborn baby, I gently wash the hair with mild baby shampoo to make the hair smell baby fresh and make sure all the mapping lines are washed off the scalp.
